At the front of this volume is an extract from Minutes of the Executive committee of the LUS 25 February 1907 suggesting that the question of the formation of a Council for the University Settlement be taken up with the Vice Chancellor, and that the Constitution (written out in the volume) which was approved at Council's first meeting
