The Spanish Civil War Collection 1930s-1940s
Microfilm: Copies of 3000 pamphlets arranged by subject, based on the Southworth Collection, University of California, San Diego, built up by the American journalist and historian, Herbert Rutledge Southworth. The collection contains a wealth of primary materials documenting the Spanish Republican period (1931-1939), the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) and the immediate post-war years of the 1940s. 57 reels of microfilm and a published guide.

Josephine Butler Letter Collection 1816-1910
Microfiche: 2,500 letters between Butler and other British figures concerning repeal of Contagious Diseases Act and other feminist issues, filmed from the originals at the Fawcett Library (now the Women's Library), London and from copies of letters at the Universities of Leeds and St. Andrews and part of 1 of Liverpool's Josephine Butler collection. 273 microfiches, with chronological index, 1816-1910, subject index and name index.
